About Me
Certified Professional Photographer | Storyteller | Artist
Inspired by nature, driven by stories. For the past 16 years, every time I’ve picked up a camera, it’s been guided by my love of capturing beautiful moments and telling meaningful stories through my lens. Whenever someone has asked me to photograph for them, it has always been an honor—whether it was in my first year, my eighth, or my sixteenth.
I owe my start in photography to my brother, a talented designer and artist, who introduced me to the camera. His passion for creativity sparked my own, and it’s a gift I carry with me to this day. My journey has been made even more meaningful by my husband, whose unwavering support and encouragement have allowed me to thrive. I truly could not be where I am today without them.
I’m also a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and earned my Professional Photographer’s Certification in 2023. As a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography with a specialization in Professional Photography, I deeply value continual learning, dedicating myself to daily photography courses or practice. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring under both fine art painters and commercial photographers, and I also hold a B.S. in Management from the University of Akron.
In my spare time, you’ll likely find my husband and I exploring the beach, hiking in the mountains, or attending an air show or aviation museum. I have a fascination with aviation history and the incredible design and technology that has evolved over the decades.
In 2022, out of more than 150 entries, I was honored to win first place in a photography competition by the Virginia Department of Aviation, with a second photo also being featured!
